This week’s guest is CrossFit Games Athlete, Parker Foster. After breaking his back in his last season of high school football, Parker questioned whether he’d be able to ever compete at a high level in sports again. Two years after his injury, Parker was cleared to begin training hard again and since then has gone head first into becoming a professional CrossFit Athlete! Parker competed in the Atlas Games in June, marking his first semi-finals as he works his way to becoming one of the top CrossFit Athletes in the country.
Throughout this episode we dive into Parker’s journey from breaking his back in high school to competing in the Crossfit Games semi-finals, how to overcome the fear of failure and finally begin to take actions towards your goals, and how to avoid anxiety and stress when thinking about your long term plans.
